Ken Vayne

Operations Manager

Ken opened the doors in 1993, having worked for the Tasmanian State Government as an Office Machine Technician for the previous 5 years and completing his Associate Diploma of Electrical Engineering in May 1990.

Ken operated the business as a sole trader for the first 13 months developing a strong relationship with Government Departments and Schools from his previous employment, and creating new contacts and Clients which continues to this day.

Ken has a simple approach to the business – “Service comes first and Sales comes from great Service”, a philosophy that has proved itself time and time again since 1993.

Karen Vayne

Finance Manager

Karen joined the team at Ricoh Ulverstone in April 2006. Karen has extensive Retail and Accounts Management skills having previously at worked at West Park IGA in Burnie and Contract Management in a busy Real Estate Office.

Leon Crawford

Senior Service Technician / Sales Advisor

Leon joined the service and sales team in 2008, having previously worked on Canon, Lanier, Konica Minolta, Hewlett Packard, Kyocera Mita and Toshiba office equipment. Leon has been in the industry since 1986 and has a wealth of Technical Knowledge and a willingness to provide the very highest level of customer support.

Leon has enjoyed success with the added task of Sales Advisor since joining Ricoh Ulverstone, we believe that no one knows better what a client needs in a machine, than the person who maintains it.

Leon has the knowledge to sell the Client what they need, not what a Salesman thinks they should have.

Shamsu

Senior Service Technician

Shamsu has been repairing Office Equipment since 1977, originally in his native India, Shamsu also worked in Bhutan.

Previous to joining Ricoh Ulverstone in November 2005 through the employer sponsored immigration program, Shamsu worked for Ricoh Australia in East Timor for 5 years, supporting the United Nations Fleet of Ricoh equipment.

Shamsu and his Family became Australian Citizens in 2008.

Peter Mountney

Senior Service Technician

Peter began his career in the Office Machine Industry over 40 years ago in 1974. Over this period of time Peter has seen massive changes in Office Equipment, constantly updating his knowledge with factory training.

Peter enjoys the daily challenges of servicing equipment to the high standards that both he and Ricoh Ulverstone pride themselves on, and the ongoing contact with Clients he has known for many years and loves meeting new clients.

Leah Hooper

Copy Shop / Administration

Leah joined the Ricoh Copy Shop / Administration team in 2010, Leah is always happy to assist clients on the phone or over the counter, whether you need a copy, a toner, a box of staples or Photos printed, Leah is here to help you.

Amy Dodwell

Graphic Design / Copy Shop

Amy joined the team at Ricoh Ulverstone in January 2019 to advance the services we offer in our Copy Shop.

Amy can provide all your Graphic Design needs, Photo Editing/Restoration, Advertising Materials, Brochures, Business Cards the list goes on and on.
